Part-Time Digital Programming Coordinator

Inglewood, California, United States

The NFL Digital Media Group is seeking a part-time Digital Media Programming Coordinator to work with the Digital Programming team on selecting, prioritizing and programming content for the NFL's digital platforms, including NFL+.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prioritize and promote content of all types (articles, VODs, live shows, etc.), always with the intention of meeting the goals of NFL Media's owned and operated platforms (NFL+, NFL App, NFL.com and Connected TV)
  • Specialize in packaging of content, making day-to-day decisions about what content best serves the NFL Digital Media audience and best fulfills stated goals for presentation, consumption and generation of revenue
  • Monitor and track trends in consumption to make informed decisions about what content is resonating with fans and subscribers
  • Write dynamic headlines and alert copy in a fast-paced, deadline environment
  • Work to identify new and exciting ways to support league-wide NFL initiatives
  • Collaborate with photo editors to create eye-catching visuals that drive traffic to our digital media platforms
  • Monitor internal email communication, social media and other outside sources to ensure that the latest NFL news is represented on our platforms and in our alerts
  • Ensure that all content is grammatically correct and factually accurate and that writing style is consistent with NFL Digital Media's editorial policies
  • Work with the 32 club sites to bring in relevant content to feature on NFL Digital Media platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Editorial experience, preferably in online mediums and in the sports industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field
  • Familiarity with Direct to Consumer content environment
  • Working knowledge of AP Style
