Clean Harbors is seeking two Technical Services Account Managers to join our San Jose, CA sales team! The TS Account Managers will drive new waste management business while growing existing accounts. This role focuses on lead generation, customer acquisition, and expanding services across hazardous waste, environmental solutions, and compliance. Partnering with internal teams, the manager helps clients improve safety, reduce risk, and ensure proper waste management.
Sales Territory: South Bay Area (South of Hwy 84) on either side of bay to Kings City). - home branch located out of San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize Health & Safety by adhering to all environmental and regulatory safety practices.
  • Use consultative, insight-driven selling to educate customers on waste-management challenges and position Clean Harbors solutions.
  • Identify, engage, and coach key environmental, operations, and compliance stakeholders to build internal consensus.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth across multi-site waste-management accounts.
  • Strengthening customer relationships through contract oversight, service delivery follow-up, and continuous improvement.
  • Propose, negotiate, and close profitable environmental services contracts with senior operations and EHS leaders.
  • Analyze waste streams, regulatory needs, and account profitability to ensure proper service, pricing, and margin growth.
  • Prospect and develop new Technical Services accounts using structured target analysis and waste-stream evaluation.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of strong B2B and complex sales background.
  • Must live within territory defined.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to build relationships (environmental service, operations, and compliance stakeholders/close profitable waste-management contracts highly preferred).
  • Skilled in strategic selling, analysis, and project planning/management.
  • Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce highly preferred.
