SUMMARY
Under general supervision, performs various staff support duties within the Sheriff's Office.
Example of Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Essential functions are the fundamental and primary duties of a classified position that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, in order to fulfill the purpose of the position.
  • Carry out the Sheriff's Mission and Vision and adhere to the Office's Core Values; Trust, Service, Community;
  • Cultivates high morale and a Team culture within the Sheriff's Office;
  • Prepare, process, or reissue a variety or legal documents, including warrants, subpoenas, protective orders, and temporary restraining orders;
  • Schedule and coordinate in-state and our-of-state travel for deputies involved in extradition or inmate transfer;
  • Prepare reports on dockets, warrant dispositions, and fine collections; generate billing for the State Attorney General's Office for service of state documents; maintain and update TCIC/NCIC database entries;
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering public inquiries, providing information within scope, and directing calls to appropriate personnel;
  • Log and submit bond payments to bookkeepers; coordinate with bond companies and courts to verify violator incarceration;
  • Perform general office duties, including filing, copying, and data entry;

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Training Guidelines:
