Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and driven Warehouse Manager to lead all warehousing and material operations in direct support of manufacturing production lines.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in receiving, inventory control, material fulfillment, and shipping preparation, along with the ability to lead a team and continuously improve operations in a fast-paced, highly automated environment. This role requires strong organizational discipline, data-driven decision making, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

This is a high-impact, floor-facing leadership role. You will work closely with Production, Planning, and Engineering teams to ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and seamless flow of goods from receiving through point-of-use on the production floor and outbound shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, material fulfillment to production lines, and shipping preparation
  • Manage receiving operations including incoming inspection coordination, purchase order verification, and accurate system entry of all inbound materials
  • Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and continuous improvement of labeling, storage, and tracking processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate material fulfillment to production through kitting, staging, and replenishment strategies that support takt time and prevent line stoppages
  • Coordinate shipping preparation including packaging, labeling, documentation, and staging of outbound materials and finished goods for logistics handoff
  • Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, including daily prioritization, shift coverage, and performance management, while maintaining a culture of safety and accountability
  • Own warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock time, pick accuracy, and on-time delivery to line; present performance data and drive improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with production planning and procurement teams to align material flow with production schedules and proactively address shortages
  • Oversee Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms to ensure real-time inventory visibility and data integrity across all transactions
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement projects focused on space utilization, replenishment efficiency, and reduction of handling waste
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards including OSHA requirements; maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment using 5S principles
  • Support new product introductions and production ramp activities by establishing receiving workflows, storage strategies, and kitting processes for new components
  • Maintain warehouse documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and inventory control procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse or materials management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and operational efficiency through structured problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and drive decisions
  • Experience leading teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting production priorities
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and 5S workplace organization
  • Willingness to support operations across shifts and respond to escalations as needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with automated material handling systems such as AGVs, AS/RS, conveyors, or robotic picking systems
  • Familiarity with kitting operations and line-side material delivery strategies such as kanban and supermarket replenishment
  • Experience with MES or factory data platforms for material tracking and production visibility
  • Knowledge of BOM structures and integration with production scheduling
  • Experience in power electronics, battery, or electromechanical assembly supply chains in energy, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics manufacturing
  • APICS CPIM or equivalent supply chain certification
  • Creative problem-solving mindset with a focus on faster, better, and more cost-effective solutions

Please note: This role requires working on-site 5 days a week. We do not offer hybrid or remote options.Â
