Position Overview

The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for optimizing inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and inventory performance across the organization. This role leverages data analytics and business intelligence tools to drive inventory strategy, improve space utilization, identify trends, and ensure compliance with audit standards while leading the training and development of inventory control processes and systems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Inventory Slotting: Optimize inventory by slotting high and low movers using Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools to improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train Inventory Control Specialists in systems such as P21, Latitude, and Varnet, ensuring operational excellence and system proficiency.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analyses on inventory discrepancies, with a focus on financial impact and resolution strategies.
  • Warehouse Space Management: Address challenges related to dead and obsolete inventory, ensuring optimal warehouse space utilization.
  • Trend Analysis: Manage and analyze Warehouse Group Inventory, identifying and communicating inventory trends and actionable insights.
  • Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with inventory audit standards, addressing and mitigating any discrepancies.
  • Aged and Expiring Products: Oversee and manage aged and expiring products, implementing effective inventory rotation and reduction strategies.
