IMPORTANT

This position is specifically for candidates with direct Warehouse Automation experience.

Candidates must have 2 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following environments:

Warehouse Execution Systems (WES)

Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Warehouse Automation Systems

Material Handling Systems

Warehouse System Integration

Software Commissioning

Distribution, Fulfillment, or Supply Chain Automation Environments

Please Note:

Candidates with only software development, PLC programming, robotics, controls engineering, manufacturing automation, or industrial automation experience will not be considered unless they also have direct warehouse automation experience.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Commissioning Engineer to support software implementation, testing, commissioning, and go-live activities for warehouse automation and supply chain technology projects.

You will work closely with Software Development, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Operations teams to deliver successful software implementations and support complex warehouse automation solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support software testing, commissioning, implementation, and go-live activities

Develop and execute test plans and advanced test cases

Validate software functionality and system integrations

Assist QA and Development teams with requirements clarification and solution validation

Participate in project planning and implementation activities

Troubleshoot software, integration, and operational issues

Create and maintain technical documentation

Support production and high-priority client issues

Identify process and system improvements

Lead post go-live reviews and lessons learned activities

Mentor and support junior commissioning engineers

Travel to client sites and company offices as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum 2 5+ years of direct Warehouse Automation experience

Experience with WES, WCS, WMS, Material Handling Systems, Warehouse Automation, or Warehouse System Integration projects

Professional experience with Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and/or Material Handling Systems

Strong understanding of software implementation and system integration

Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, databases, and file management systems

Experience working with Windows and Linux environments

Strong client-facing communication skills

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
