Position: Human Resources Manager

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site/in office

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveHuman Resources Managerto join our growing team in Schaumburg, IL. This on-site role will partner with our Business Unit leadership to drive people strategies that support business objectives in the United States while aligning with global HR direction. This role provides both strategic and hands-on HR support across all functional areas including employee relations, talent development, performance management, and compliance.

The HR Manager plays a vital role in shaping and enhancing the overall employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This role supports the development and execution of HR initiatives across talent attraction, onboarding, learning and development, compensation, employee engagement, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with US and Canada-based leadership to align HR strategies with business priorities
  • Lead HR support for multi-site US operations, including employee relations, engagement, and retention
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance on policies and workplace matters
  • Ensure compliance with US employment laws and company policies
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management initiatives
  • Drive performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning; coach managers on employee performance and growth
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs to enhance employee capability
  • Administer employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and implement targeted action plans; support managers in driving engagement strategies
  • Partner with global HR teams to ensure consistency of programs while adapting solutions to meet US business needs
  • Analyze HR metrics such as turnover, engagement, and compensation to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Support compensation and benefits programs, including benchmarking and merit processes
  • Lead and develop HR team members by providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Support and execute change management initiatives tied to business growth and transformation
  • Travel to office locations within the US and Canada as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of prior HR experience, generalist experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, or HRCI certification preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law andHR best practices
  • Strong problem solving, customer service, communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency using HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer applications
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with all levels of the organization

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K.
