Job Description
As a Security Officer Dedicated Patrol Guard in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values people first, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response protocols at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and document findings according to post orders.
  • Assist with de-escalation, directional support, and other customer-facing interactions while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
