Job description

Commercial VRF & Ductwork Installer Traveling Project - Durham, NC

Project: Commercial Upfit - National Bank

Pay: $30 - $45 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Several months (with strong potential for additional projects)

We are currently hiring two experienced Commercial HVAC Installers for an active commercial renovation project in Durham, NC. This role will focus heavily on VRF system installations and commercial ductwork in a professional banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and fabricate commercial duct systems
  • Hang and set HVAC equipment and indoor units
  • Run and braze copper refrigerant lines for VRF systems
  • Install condensate drain lines and associated piping
  • Perform full-scale commercial HVAC installations on active job sites
  • Coordinate effectively with other trades while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial HVAC installation experience
  • Strong background working with ductwork and sheet metal
  • Proven experience with VRF systems (highly preferred)
  • Solid skills in copper piping, brazing, and refrigeration line sets
  • Ability to work efficiently on active commercial construction sites
  • Immediate availability is required
