Job description

HVAC/R Service Technician

Job Overview

We are growing and looking for a skilled VRF Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with geothermal systems and VRF/VRV equipment, and take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable service in the field.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining advanced HVAC systems, including:

  • Geothermal heat pumps (open and closed loop systems)

  • VRF/VRV systems from major manufacturers (Mitsubishi, Daikin, Samsung, and others)

  • High-efficiency residential and light commercial HVAC systems

  • This is a hands-on field role for someone who can independently troubleshoot complex systems, work efficiently under real-world conditions, and communicate professionally with clients and team members.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience

  • Strong experience with geothermal and/or VRF/VRV systems preferred

  • Solid understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and controls wiring

  • Valid and clean driver's license

  • Dependable, self-motivated, and professional attitude

Bonus Qualifications

  • VRF factory training or manufacturer certifications

  • NATE certification

  • Experience with hydronic systems or modulating boilers
