The Director/Vice President of Sales, Costco is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive top-line growth and operating profit. The individual must be high performing with experience selling home textiles to leading omnichannel retailers. This is a leadership role that will require strong skills in Product and People Management. There is a strong preference for candidates who have current or prior experience with Costco.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve account and company financial objectives.
  • Identify categories, products, and brands that capitalize on white space opportunities to increase retailer penetration. Understand the nuances of merchandise mix.
  • Establish and monitor sales metrics and KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze POS data and market and competitor trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer across US, Canada, Mexico and International Regions.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Design, and Sourcing to build product solutions that fulfill consumer/retailer white space need.
  • Partner with Planning to develop accurate short and long-term forecasts.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor direct reports to drive performance and exceed sales targets.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales and business development.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning within the sales organization.
