About the Role:

The Part-time Creeler plays a vital role in the carpet manufacturing process by ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of yarn packages for weaving operations. This position involves loading yarn cones or spools onto creels, monitoring yarn tension and quality, and promptly addressing any issues that arise during the creeling process. The creeler contributes to maintaining continuous production flow by minimizing downtime and ensuring yarn is properly fed into subsequent machinery. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to prevent material waste and equipment damage. Ultimately, the role supports the overall productivity and quality standards of the textile production facility.

All shifts available, 30 hours per week maximum.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate creeling or similar textile machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or shifts as needed.
  • Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate creel by loading yarn cones or spools onto creels according to production specifications.
