Position Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Compensation: $152,565.75/year to $190,707.19/year. Actual compensation will depend on experience.
The Opportunity: Vice President, Technology Services
AmeriCU Credit Union is seeking a strategic and operational Vice President, Technology Services. This leadership role drives the organization's technology strategy, modernizes business processes, and oversees daily IT operations. You will lead a talented IT team to deliver secure, efficient, and innovative financial technology solutions that support our mission and growth.
What You'll Do: Vice President, Technology Services
Strategic IT Leadership & Execution
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner closely with the Senior and Chief Leadership Teams to design and execute short- and long-term technology strategies that support the credit union's mission.
  • Annual Planning: Formulate and deploy an annual IT roadmap aligned with evolving business goals, industry benchmarks, and technical best practices.
  • Business Integration: Coordinate directly with diverse business units to identify operational bottlenecks and deploy effective IT solutions that streamline workflows.
  • Innovation & Growth: Evaluate emerging technologies, vendors, and service providers to continuously enhance the credit union's technical capabilities and market competitiveness.

Departmental & Team Oversight
  • Multi-Department Management: Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction for Infrastructure, Business Applications, the Support Desk, Enterprise Solutions & Analysis, and Core Processing.
  • Talent Development: Supervise, mentor, and empower the IT leadership team to foster a high-performance culture rooted in innovation and continuous improvement. [1]

Security, Compliance & Governance
  • Data Security: Protect the integrity, availability, and reliability of all information and communication networks, ensuring total security of acquired and stored member data.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict alignment with all applicable state and federal laws, data privacy regulations, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Risk Monitoring: Monitor system performance continuously, generate risk reports, and ensure immediate incident resolution for any technical or security disruptions.

Financial & Relationship Management
  • Fiscal Accountability: Manage the overarching IT budget and staff resources to maximize cost-effectiveness and optimize asset utilization.
  • Project Proposals: Facilitate comprehensive project plans, outlining clear technical specifications, resource needs, and staffing requirements for new systems.
