Job description

Integrion Automation (formally Wauseon Machine) is seeking a full-time Vice President of Finance to join our leadership team at our Wauseon, Ohio headquarters. Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Finance is the company's senior-most financial leader and a strategic, data-driven partner to the Leadership team. This role owns financial strategy, planning, and reporting while building the FP&A discipline, controls, and forecasting rigor required to manage a project-based, engineered-to-order business.

The VP of Finance will translate business strategy into financial plans, drive cash flow visibility and predictability, identify opportunities to improve margins and capital efficiency, and help evaluate and execute growth initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is comfortable building processes and teams as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with company objectives, partnering with the CEO and leadership team to support growth and profitability.
  • FP&A & Forecasting: Build and lead a disciplined FP&A function; enhance revenue, profit, and cash flow forecasting, with particular attention to the variability of engineered-to-order, project-based work.
  • Cash Flow Management: Improve cash flow visibility and predictability, manage working capital, and ensure the business is positioned to fund operations and growth.
  • Cost & Margin Optimization: Analyze cost structures to identify margin-improvement opportunities; optimize net working capital and operating expenses.
  • KPI & Performance Management: Define and prioritize the key metrics that drive performance across operational, commercial, and financial functions, and hold the organization accountable to them.
  • Financial Reporting & Controls: Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting; maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, professionalizing the function through best practices and scalable processes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including significant time in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to build FP&A discipline, processes, and teams from the ground up.
  • Strong command of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial products, or engineered-to-order/project-based business.
  • Track record of improving gross margin, rationalizing operating expenses, and reducing working capital.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to act as a strategic, cross-functional thought partner.

Preferred

  • MBA with a finance or accounting focus, or a professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
  • Experience leading financial transformation in a small or mid-sized business.
  • Experience scaling a finance function during periods of rapid growth.
  • Experience managing acquisitions from diligence through integration.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including a base salary, an annual performance bonus, long-term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
