Position Summary

The Vice President, Media is a senior media leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continued evolution of DAC's Media practice. This leader partners closely with the SVP, Media to ensure the agency delivers innovative, integrated media solutions that meet evolving client needs while advancing the long-term growth of the practice.

The Vice President provides leadership across client strategy, people development, operational consistency, and capability building. They serve as a senior advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, enforce best practices across paid media activation, and help shape how the agency leverages emerging technologies, AI, automation, and new media capabilities to deliver exceptional business outcomes.

This individual leads through influence, develops future leaders, and creates an environment where teams consistently deliver outstanding client experiences while improving efficiency, quality, and profitability.

What You'll Do

Media Practice Leadership

  • Partner with the SVP, Media and other Media Team Leaders to establish and execute the strategic direction for DAC's Media practice.

  • Drive the evolution of media offerings, ensuring they remain innovative, competitive, and aligned with changing client needs.

  • Champion operational excellence through scalable processes, standards, governance, and quality assurance.

  • Lead adoption of AI-enabled workflows, automation, and emerging technologies that improve client outcomes and team effectiveness.

  • Partner with other agency practice leaders to deliver integrated, full-funnel marketing solutions.

  • Support new business efforts through strategic leadership, pitch presentations, and thought leadership.

Client Leadership

  • Serve as senior sponsor and strategic advisor across key client relationships.

  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex client issues and business challenges.

  • Guide integrated media strategies across paid channels while ensuring integration with owned and earned where applicable.

  • Ensure media programs consistently achieve client objectives while identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Manage profitability, forecasting, utilization, and investment priorities for book of business.

  • Ensure consistent execution across teams and clients.

People Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing SMEs across the Media organization.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

  • Drive organizational planning, succession development, and leadership capability across the department.

  • Ensure appropriate resource planning, staffing, and organizational design to support business growth.

  • Establish KPIs that measure team health, operational performance, and client success.

Industry Leadership

  • Represent DAC as an industry leader through speaking engagements, publications, client events, and vendor partnerships.

  • Build strategic relationships with platform partners and technology providers.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and translate emerging opportunities into agency capabilities.

Salary at DAC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected total compensation range for this position is starting at $206,000 to $269,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DAC's total compensation package for employees.
