We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, hardworking professional with excellent communication and time management skills.

The VP, Media Director will provide senior media leadership across a portfolio of client accounts, overseeing tactical media planning, buying and execution across all media channels, including Video (TV, OTT, OLV), Audio (terrestrial and digital radio, podcast), Out-of-Home and Display, across both direct and programmatic buying. This role will ensure the media team deliver high-quality work from planning to execution, providing strategic guidance, identify opportunities for clients and continuously improve how the media team operates.

What you'll do
  • Lead media teams across assigned client accounts, providing oversight from tactical planning through campaign execution.
  • Provide tactical media strategy and buying guidance across teams
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving media marketplace, including emerging channels and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and media partners
  • Proactively identify new media opportunities, partnerships and platforms, and buying strategies that can benefit clients.
  • Provide thought leadership to clients and internal teams
  • Lead, mentor, and develop media team members, including identifying training and development needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes and establish consistent media best practices
  • Participate in RFPs and new business opportunities
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Directly manage Sr Buyers and Buyers as assigned
  • Provide leadership and oversight to broader media teams
Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced media leader who combines deep tactical media expertise with strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills

  • 8-10+ years of media buying, planning, and/or advertising experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing and developing team
  • Deep understanding of the media buying and tactical planning across multiple channels, with strong expertise in Video, including Linear TV and OTT.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple accounts and teams.
  • Strong understanding of the media marketplace
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability and follow through
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with media management software and reporting tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Experience with DSPs and programmatic buying is a plus.

This position does not require regularly scheduled travel.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000. The successful candidateโ€™s salary will depend on the actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidateโ€™s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
