The Vice President, Media will lead client relationships, strategic direction, and business growth initiatives. This is a senior leadership role focused on advancing our media capabilities, shaping innovative solutions, and mentoring teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients. The VP will help define and expand our media offering, inspire collaboration across departments, and ensure that the company remains at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy - Serve as the senior media lead on client accounts, ensuring we deliver measurable results, build lasting partnerships, and consistently exceed expectations.
Lead and Further Strengthen Media Negotiations - constantly strive to work with the team to negotiate better rates, more added value and premium inventory for our clients. Further develop vendor relationships nationally and regionally.
Business Growth - Drive revenue expansion by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to new business efforts in partnership with agency leadership.
Media Innovation - Stay ahead of evolving media trends, platforms, and technologies.
Team Leadership - Inspire, mentor, and lead client-facing teams to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Operational Excellence - Ensure client initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards, while aligning with broader agency objectives.
Cross-Agency Collaboration - Partner with strategy, creative, media, and analytics teams to deliver integrated, impactful campaigns.
Industry Engagement - Represent the company as a thought leader in media, contributing perspectives internally and externally.
Process & Execution - Establish, refine, and oversee end-to-end media processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence in campaign delivery. Develop frameworks and best practices for planning, buying, trafficking, optimization, and reporting, ensuring teams execute with precision and agility. Drive accountability by implementing clear workflows, performance benchmarks, and quality control measures. Partner with internal teams to streamline communication, improve operational efficiencies, and scale processes that support both client success and agency growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
20+ years of progressive leadership experience in media and advertising, with a strong emphasis on cross-channel planning and buying.
Proven track record of growing client relationships and delivering revenue growth.
Strong financial management skills with experience overseeing budgets and resource allocation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
