Alors que l’industrie accélère sa transition vers des infrastructures définies par logiciel, des plateformes cloud natives et des environnements propulsés par l’intelligence artificielle, EXFO entre dans une nouvelle phase de transformation - une phase nécessitant une convergence encore plus forte entre innovation, exécution, industrialisation et capacité de mise à l’échelle. Ce rôle se situe au cœur même de cette transformation. L’opportunité EXFO est à la recherche d’un Vice-président - R&D et Opérations afin de piloter la chaîne de valeur technologique et industrielle de sa division Test & Measurement.
Relevant directement du General Manager de la division, cette personne supervisera : Les organisations R&D mondiales des Business Units ND&O et MDR Les opérations manufacturières mondiales Les activités de supply chain et d’industrialisation Les centres de distribution et l’exécution opérationnelle L’intégration transversale entre le développement, la production et la livraison Il s’agit d’un mandat exécutif stratégique visant à faire évoluer une organisation historiquement forte en ingénierie vers un environnement plus rapide, intégré, orienté plateforme et discipliné en exécution - tout en renforçant simultanément l’excellence opérationnelle à travers les opérations industrielles mondiales. La personne retenue jouera un rôle déterminant dans l’accélération de la transformation d’EXFO vers des offres cloud, SaaS et des plateformes logicielles évolutives, tout en assurant que le moteur opérationnel de l’entreprise demeure performant et robuste à l’échelle mondiale. Ce n’est pas un rôle de maintien.

Responsabilités principales Leadership R&D et transformation technologique Diriger des organisations R&D mondiales d’envergure dans des environnements combinant hardware et software Renforcer la discipline d’exécution, la prévisibilité des livrables et la gouvernance de portefeuille Accélérer le time-to-market des nouvelles plateformes et solutions Contribuer activement à l’évolution d’EXFO vers des offres plus cloud natives, SaaS et orientées plateformes logicielles, en étroite collaboration avec l’organisation du CTO Moderniser les pratiques, méthodologies et outils de développement à travers les équipes Renforcer les capacités DevOps, CI/CD, d’automatisation et de livraison logicielle à grande échelle Réduire la dette technique tout en améliorant durablement la qualité, la maintenabilité et la scalabilité logicielle Favoriser la convergence, la réutilisation et la cohérence architecturale entre les Business Units en étroite collaboration avec l’organisation du CTO Excellence industrielle et opérationnelle Diriger les opérations manufacturières mondiales, la supply chain, l’industrialisation et les activités de distribution Assurer une capacité opérationnelle alignée avec les ambitions de croissance et la transformation des produits Améliorer les performances liées aux coûts, à la qualité, aux délais et à l’efficacité opérationnelle Renforcer la résilience de la supply chain dans un environnement mondial en constante évolution Accélérer les processus de New Product Introduction (NPI) et réduire les frictions entre la R&D et la production Soutenir les transformations opérationnelles en cours dans les environnements de production et de distribution Promouvoir une culture forte d’amélioration continue à travers les opérations industrielles Intégration R&D - Opérations Créer une continuité opérationnelle plus forte entre l’ingénierie, l’industrialisation, la fabrication et la livraison Éliminer les silos organisationnels et améliorer l’imputabilité transversale Aligner l’innovation technologique avec les réalités d’exécution et de mise à l’échelle opérationnelle Déployer des indicateurs de performance communs entre les différentes fonctions Favoriser une culture de collaboration, de transparence, d’appropriation et d’excellence d’exécution Profil recherché Expérience Expérience exécutive significative à la tête d’organisations R&D d’envergure (200 ingénieurs) Forte exposition à des environnements manufacturiers mondiaux et complexes Expérience tangible dans des transformations impliquant le cloud, le SaaS, les plateformes logicielles ou des écosystèmes hybrides hardware/software Expérience dans des entreprises technologiques devant conjuguer rapidité d’innovation et rigueur opérationnelle Compréhension approfondie des enjeux de scalabilité technologique, d’exécution industrielle et de transformation organisationnelle Profil de leadership La personne recherchée combine : Vision stratégique technologique Capacité à comprendre l’évolution des marchés technologiques et à aligner les organisations en conséquence.
