The team leads these efforts from conception through commissioning, working with Sales, Operations, New Site Development, and Engineering along the way. Procurement also works closely with vendor partners to come up with a vertically integrated design, and we manage these partners to deliver the projects on schedule and budget. Vantage is unique in that our technical staff is given the responsibility and authority to directly drive the process. Our internal team can align long-term operational sustainability with value engineering and cost metrics to deliver products aligned with corporate goals. This approach empowers each member of the team to drive high- impact decisions and even more impactful results.Position OverviewThis role can be based remotely in the US or Canada.Vantage is looking for a meticulous, hands-on Vice President to lead the Procurement Center of Excellence as the enterprise owner of supply chain central planning and digital enablement to ensure visibility across procurement and supply chain functions. This role translates long-range customer demand into product and service forecasts, integrates planning inputs from category management and regional procurement, and establishes the reporting, controls, and digital infrastructure required to manage inventory, assets, and supply-related liabilities at scale. The VP partners across Product, Procurement, Finance, IT, Construction, Operations, and Legal, to create a connected digital footprint that improves real-time asset tracking, inventory transparency, and end-to-end decision quality.Essential Job FunctionsLead central planning processes that map long-term customer demand to product and service requirements, ensuring forward visibility of supply needs, capacity requirements, and enabling decisions across the procurement lifecycle.Aggregate and govern functional data from category management and regional procurement to provide enterprise-wide visibility into inventory, asset management, product life cycle, and end-of-life status across tangible assets and supply-related capacity.Establish reporting and governance over cash flows, liabilities, and liquidity impacts associated with inventory positions, committed supply, and capacity reservations, with detailed analysis to support business planning and executive decision-making.Support governance of end-to-end data structures for SKUs and related master data developed across Product, Supply Chain, and Procurement, ensuring consistent integration into the enterprise digital footprint.Drive real-time asset management and tracking capabilities by aligning planning, inventory, and operational data into connected digital platforms that support visibility, control, and decision support.Lead supply chain digital platforms and integration efforts with IT and cross-functional partners including Finance, Construction, Operations, Legal, and other corporate functions.Own governance for cumulative inventory reporting across all tangible assets supporting individual functions, ensuring standardized definitions, reconciliation discipline, and accurate executive-level reporting.Oversee enterprise approaches to asset visibility across inventory, installed base, spares, transition stock, and end-of-life exposure to improve planning accuracy and lifecycle management.Provide strategic direction for corporate software and IT management within the procurement and supply chain ecosystem, including platform roadmap, integration priorities, controls, and adoption.Build operating cadence, governance forums, and performance reporting that connect planning, inventory, asset data, digital systems, and financial impacts into a coherent center-of-excellence model.Additional duties as assigned by Management.Job RequirementsStrong project management capability with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across procurement, supply chain, finance, IT, and operations.Deep finance background with the ability to interpret and manage complex financial structures tied to inventory, assets, supply commitments, and enterprise planning.Advanced reporting capability, including development of detailed and complex reporting across tax, asset staging, tariffs, cash flow exposure, liabilities, liquidity, and operational inventory positions.Strong understanding of complex financing models, structured payments, milestone-based commercial arrangements, and supply-related financial obligations.Experience with warehouse, inventory, and asset-related cash and liability management, including reconciliation, forecasting, and executive reporting.Ability to connect operational data, financial impacts, and planning assumptions into clear decision-support reporting for senior leadership.Strong analytical and governance skills with the ability to standardize reporting definitions, enforce data quality, and improve enterprise visibility.Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders, balancing strategic planning, operational execution, and financial discipline.Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves.Physical Demands and Special RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
