Job description

VP Management is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Princeton, WV. This role supports the accounting department by performing a variety of financial and administrative tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our accounting operations.
Responsibilities
  • Process weekly accounts payable and payroll
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounting ledgers
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred
  • Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounts software, experience with QuickBooks is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
