Job description

Are you a dynamic and ambitious leader ready to help build a company from the ground up? Connected Age Marketing & Media Services is seeking a Vice President to work directly with the President to shape the future of the business. This pivotal role oversees all departments, collaborates on company strategy, and ensures the smooth operation and growth of the organization.

As Vice President, you’ll play a hands-on role in hiring, managing, and mentoring team members across sales, digital marketing fulfillment, media production, and advertising. Early on, you’ll be immersed in every aspect of the business, learning its operations and working alongside the President to execute its vision. You’ll oversee departmental directors, resolve escalated client matters, and actively contribute to key decisions regarding hiring, firing, and promotions.

This leadership position is deeply tied to the company’s success, offering significant earning potential, yearly bonuses tied to company ownership, and the opportunity to secure a significant ownership stake after meeting performance- and time-based milestones. If you’re ready to drive growth, make impactful decisions, and play a leading role in a company’s success, this is the opportunity for you.

  • Work directly with the President to develop and execute strategies for building and growing the company from the ground up.
  • Oversee all four departments—Sales, Digital Marketing Fulfillment, Media Production, and Advertising—ensuring smooth operations and departmental alignment with company goals.
  • Manage and mentor the department directors, providing guidance and holding them accountable for their teams' performance.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for client matters that cannot be resolved by directors, ensuring client satisfaction and conflict resolution.
  • Aggressively recruit talent across all departments, actively participating in interviews, hiring decisions, and onboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with the President on performance metrics, departmental efficiency, and key operational decisions.
  • Evaluate employees for potential promotions to director roles and ensure that performance and time-based milestones for ownership eligibility are met.
  • Maintain a strong focus on company growth, constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency, profitability, and employee performance.
  • Represent the company alongside the President in high-level discussions, negotiations, and public-facing roles as needed.
Must Have
  • Proven leadership experience, with a strong track record of managing teams and driving company growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and lead others.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and thrive in a startup environment where roles may shift as the company grows.
  • A deep commitment to the company’s vision and goals, with the drive to see them through to fruition.
  • An ability to adapt & optimize creatively & define your own role over time.
Nice to have
  • Experience in hiring, firing, and mentoring team members across multiple departments or disciplines.
  • Experience in digital marketing, advertising, or media production, providing insight into key company services.
  • Familiarity with client management, including resolving escalated issues and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Knowledge of performance metrics and operational efficiency tools to evaluate and improve company processes.
  • A track record of working in startups or small businesses, with a hands-on approach to leadership.
  • Experience in profit-sharing or ownership-based roles, demonstrating an understanding of incentive-driven leadership.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to take risks and innovate to drive company success.
