Job description

Coming soon to the Las Vegas Strip, Hard Rock Las Vegas will be a fully integrated luxury resort offering world-class hospitality, gaming, dining, entertainment and retail. Positioned on the 50-yard line of the Strip, the resort will feature a nearly 700 ft. guitar-shaped hotel that will change the Las Vegas skyline. The finished complex will feature over 3,700 hotel rooms, approximately 175,000 square feet of gaming space, two spas, multiple pools, live entertainment venues and dozens of restaurants, lounges and retail outlets.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Entertainment & Event Marketing, the Vice President of Brand Marketing provides strategic leadership for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, overseeing advertising, digital marketing, public relations, content, and sponsorships. This executive is responsible for driving brand awareness, guest acquisition, loyalty, and revenue growth through integrated marketing strategies, data-driven decision-making, and innovative guest engagement initiatives that position the property as a premier domestic and international destination. The Vice President leads a high-performing marketing organization and collaborates closely with gaming, hospitality, entertainment, and corporate partners to position Hard Rock Las Vegas as a premier integrated resort destination.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to support gaming and non-gaming revenue growth, brand equity, guest acquisition, retention, and market share objectives.
  • Lead brand positioning and integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, earned, and partnered channels to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategy, including media, search, social, CRM, website, email, mobile, and marketing automation to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue.
  • Utilize guest insights, analytics, and performance metrics to optimize marketing effectiveness, media investments, and customer lifetime value.
  • Partner with property and enterprise leaders to develop customer-centric programs, promotions, and communications that enhance loyalty and guest engagement.
  • Direct public relations, content strategy, sponsorships, and reputation management initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and market presence.
  • Lead agency relationships, creative development, and marketing partnerships to ensure best-in-class execution and return on investment.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and resource plans while ensuring financial accountability and operational efficiency.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming regulations, company policies, and brand standards.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on market trends, consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and emerging marketing opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility within gaming, hospitality, entertainment, resort, or comparable consumer-facing industries.
  • Proven success developing and leading integrated brand and digital marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Strong expertise in brand management, media strategy, CRM, loyalty marketing, digital performance, guest acquisition, and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant marketing budgets, agency partnerships, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Previous integrated resort, casino, or major property opening experience strongly preferred.
  • Strategic leader with strong business acumen, financial discipline, analytical capabilities, and executive presence.
  • Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
Work Environment

Physical demands include standing, walking, and noise exposure for extended periods. Position requires occasional lifting and moving of items weighing up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including secondhand smoke. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
