Everstead Health & Rehabilitation is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Part-Time Weekend RN Supervisor. If you're a strong clinical leader who enjoys mentoring staff, ensuring exceptional resident care, and making a difference every weekend, we'd love to hear from you.

As the Weekend RN Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight during weekend shifts, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and support for the nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN seeking a consistent weekend leadership role in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned weekend shifts.
  • Ensure residents receive high-quality care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
  • Serve as the clinical resource for nurses and nursing assistants.
  • Assess resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Promote compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
  • Support infection prevention, resident safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with staffing coordination and clinical decision-making during weekend operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment through leadership, coaching, and teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
  • Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to lead a team while providing exceptional resident-centered care.
