Big Bend Hospice is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care to patients and families across the Big Bend region. For more than four decades, we have supported individuals facing serious illness through hospice care, grief support, and community programs. Our mission is rooted in dignity, comfort, and connection, ensuring no one walks this journey alone.

Volunteer Role Overview - Calhoun, Jackson and Gulf counites

Volunteers play a vital role in supporting patients and families close to home. Volunteers offer companionship, caregiver support, Veteran recognition, and a comforting presence during an important season of life.

No medical experience is requiredโ€”just a caring heart and a willingness to give a few hours of your time. Volunteers are matched to opportunities that fit their schedule, interests, and local community. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided.
