Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon provides a vital home away from home for families with seriously ill children requiring specialized medical treatment far from home. Supporting families from across BC and Yukon, including Prince George, Kamloops, Whitehorse, and Victoria, the House offers a place of comfort, healing, and togetherness during difficult times.

In addition to offering a safe and comforting place to stay, Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon provides wellness programs to support the holistic healing of families. These include Music Therapy with a certified therapist, a Chef-led Family Meal Program, Massage Therapy, Pet Therapy, and Art Therapy, all designed to nurture both physical and emotional well-being during challenging times.

About the Volunteer Position

Are you passionate about community, connection, and making a difference? We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support our events in Kelowna throughout the year!
As a Community Event Volunteer, you'll play a key role in helping our events run smoothly.

Tasks may include:
- Selling 50/50 tickets - minimum 19 years old
- Representing our organization with a friendly and professional attitude
- Assisting with event setup and takedown (light lifting may be required)
- Engaging with attendees and creating a welcoming atmosphere
