Job description

The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting its second annual North Shore Daffodil Dash. This family fun event is looking for active, organized volunteers to join our team to make this event a success. Volunteer Coordinator Working closely with the other committee members, this individual will help determine volunteer requirements for all areas of the event; will assist each committee member in recruiting their required volunteers if necessary; and will assist with scheduling and training the volunteers for each area. They will set up and oversee an event day volunteer check-in system, and ensure that all volunteer data is tracked and shared with Canadian Cancer Society staff. This position will also actively pursue opportunities at local community events to recruit volunteers for their local Daffodil Dash.
