Job description

Volunteer SUMMARY:
Provides volunteer administrative services to Hospice as assigned and requested.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Degree: High school graduate or GED, preferred.
Training/Licensure: Completes Hospice training program.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Willingness to volunteer as a Hospice team member
Demonstrated knowledge and well-developed communication skills.
Prefer typing, computer, filing, or fund-raising skills.
Experience: N/A
Physical Requirements:
Must possess sight/hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet the essential duties of the position.
Mental Requirements:
Must be flexible, innovative, and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress and demonstrate emotional stability.
Conditions:
Volunteer primarily in Hospice office and community.
Transportation:
Must have a current valid driver's license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation.
Essential Functions:
1. Provides assigned administrative services.
2. Communicates at the appropriate level.
3. Documents services provided.
4. Coordinate efforts with the Volunteer Coordinator.
