Hybrid 4 days onsite in Pittsburgh, PA
Our client seeks a Derivatives Settlements professional to ensure accurate and timely settlement of derivative-related cash flows, perform reconciliations, investigate exceptions, and serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders, clients, counterparties, and market infrastructure partners across Interest Rate Derivatives, FX STIRT, Synthetic Equity, and Capital Markets, as well as Corporate Trust, Seed Capital Investment Management, and Corporate Treasury.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $20.00 to $30.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
  • Manage settlement of counterparty payments for bilateral and cleared derivatives activity using platforms including Summit, Wall Street Systems, Treasury Edge, and Nexen.
  • Perform Level 2 reconciliations of interest rate derivative cash activity, and positions and trades related to futures business cleared through Citibank as FCM.
  • Investigate and resolve cash, trade, and position breaks with internal teams and external counterparties.
  • Respond to client and counterparty inquiries regarding cash flow payments, settlements, and trade discrepancies.
  • Act as a primary contact for cleared swaps and futures inquiries with partners such as LCH and Citibank Global Markets Inc.
  • Support operational risk reduction through strong control execution, issue identification, and timely escalation.
  • Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, testing, and operational procedures.

Experience Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant Operations experience.
  • Knowledge of derivatives operations and settlement processes with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Experience with cleared and bilateral swap and futures products and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and systems.
