Little Volunteer Child Care โ Belltown is excited to open the doors to our beautiful, state-of-the-art child care center in the growing Belltown community! We are currently seeking compassionate, nurturing, and dependable Infant Classroom Educators to become part of our founding team.

Position Summary
Infant Classroom Educators provide loving, responsive, and developmentally appropriate care for infants in a safe and nurturing environment. Educators build secure attachments, support each infant's physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development, and work closely with families to ensure each child's individual needs are met.

- Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and excellent communication skills.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.
- Works collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
- Brings compassion, patience, and positivity to every interaction.
What You'll DoResponsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants throughout the day.
- Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care schedules.
- Foster early learning through age-appropriate sensory experiences, tummy time, music, books, and play.
- Support each child's physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, healthy, and organized classroom environment.
- Accurately document feedings, diaper changes, naps, and daily activities using Brightwheel.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's daily experiences and developmental progress.
- Follow all Tennessee Department of Human Services licensing regulations and center policies.
- Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of every infant.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to provide exceptional care and education.
RequirementsPreferred Qualifications
- Experience working with infants in a licensed child care setting (preferred but not required).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CDA, TECTA, or coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass all required state background checks.
- Must meet Tennessee Department of Human Services licensing requirements.
