The Cook provides a supreme experience to guests by preparing high quality meals. The Cook's main goal is to ensure that guests will always enjoy exceptional dining experiences. You will create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public. The primary goals of the Cook are 1) prepare delicious, consistent, well-presented food plates that will delight customers; 2) minimize food waste; and 3) keep an immaculately clean kitchen.
  • Exceed First Class Service standards and behavior with every guest, business partner and peers.
  • Follow production prep list and keep records accurately. Requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, and serving food items.
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Regularly restock all kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
  • Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by the supervisor.
  • Maintain clean organized work environment that is free of safety hazards.
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment.

The Associate is responsible for charming and captivating Vino Volo customers through sophisticated customer service and wine expertise at the tasting bar, in the tasting lounge, or in the retail section of the store. They deliver exceptional customer service by interacting with guests in a friendly and timely manner, using their complete knowledge of wine and food menus to take orders, answer questions and make suggestions. You will create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public by impressing customers with the Vino Volo experience. The primary goals of the Associate are to 1) impress customers with the quality of the Vino Volo experience; and 2) sell flights, glasses, food pairings and retail bottles of wine to these same customers.
  • Warmly greets, acknowledges, and takes guests drink and food order; provides information about menu items and looks for opportunities for additional sales
  • Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner. Create a lasting first and last impression.
  • Responsible for wine knowledge including, but not limited to flavor profiles and talking points of current list along with pricing guidelines
  • Process all point of sale transactions in a quick, efficient manner
  • Build guest loyalty and enhance selling skills through the use of training materials
  • Work together with fellow employees and management to ensure all guests have the best experience possible
  • Maintain a clean organized work environment
  • Support other areas of the bar as requested, such as seating customers, answering telephones, stock work, cleanup, and documentation.
  • Respond appropriately to guest concerns
  • Maintain current adult beverage certification. Ensure responsible service of alcohol.
