Mid & Sr. Level Voice/Systems Engineer (Dulles, VA)
Engineering - Dulles, VA - Full Time We are looking for an experienced Voice Engineer/Systems Engineer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. Years Experience for Mid-level: 3-10 yrs. Years Experience for Senior level: 11+ yrs.
Clearance Requirements: Full Scope Poly
Education: Bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees in computer science are preferred.
Location: Dulles, VA
Onsite: 5x/week Specific skills may include the following:
• Work in an enterprise IT environment with specific tasks related to Voice
• Collaborate with network engineering and other telecom engineers in integration activities involving telephony or call center
• Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new voice infrastructure
• Support implementation of next-generation voice technologies
• Participate in the system security accreditation process
• Provide certificate management support for secure systems
• Assist with system upgrades, patching, and configuration
• Support new site voice system standups
• Support call center technology deployments, user training, and transition planning
• Contribute to call routing and turning design within enterprise voice platforms
• Attend meetings with internal teams and clients to gather and understand voice system requirements
• Monitor compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Gain hands-on experience with secure voice devices (e.g., VoIP phones, STEs, Viper) and infrastructure components (e.g., PBXs, encryption devices, call management servers)
• Learn to provide Tier 4 engineering support under supervision
