About the Job

Cisco Voice Engineer needs four years of experience providing high-quality end user support, resolving issues and providing a high level of customer service.

Cisco Voice Engineer requires:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical area or equivalent technical training/experience.
  • Certification in a call management/voice system application

Experience:

  • Minimum four years of experience providing high-quality end user support, resolving issues and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Minimum two years of experience with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity and UCCX and Finesse.
  • Minimum two years of experience providing IT customer support within a research or academic environment.
  • Experience in higher education and a hospital setting.
  • Experience in a voice communications, including but not limited to: voicemail, phone systems, and call centers.

Cisco Voice Engineer duties:

  • Provide a high level of customer service focused technical support over the phone, via email, over chat, and other communication mediums identified. This includes:
    • Timely, courteous, and polite customer interactions.
    • A high level of problem solving skills to resolve issues, answer questions, and determine ways to eliminate these issues in the future.
    • Technical knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, Unity voicemail, and Call Center application.
