The Opportunity:
Role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our Cisco Voice environment.
A typical day would consist of working through any morning tickets or ongoing issues in support of our corporate-wide Voice environment, monitoring the environment, servers, and call centers for health and operational issues, and correcting any potential issues.
During the day this role will work with our other Voice Engineers managing various tickets across the CACI environment, participate in project work, assist in setting and maintaining Voice and Video standards, and wrap up the day ensuring our systems are operational in support of any corporate evening activities.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute performance and statistical monitoring and develop procedures and best practices to improve overall environment.
  • Manage configuration, deployment and maintenance of multi-site Cisco VoIP Network and multi-site Cisco UC Environment Design, including managing and supporting the CUBE environment.
  • Acquire, maintain, and report on data related to VoIP network performance management, capacity planning and utilization trend analysis.
  • Review network design and configuration and make recommendations to improve functionality and quality.
  • Management, administration, and support of multiple Call Center environments our team supports, including using Variphy.
  • Lead vendors and technicians handling voice and data networks.
  • Provide advice about level 4 engineering to Field Service teams and engineers.
  • Provide management, administration, and support of core Voice & Video environment. Maintain same for Lab environment.
  • Design, Maintenance, and certification of Teams, Zoom, and Webex calling and conferencing, as well as Cisco Jabber, IP phones, and various Video Devices (VTC).
  • Extensive UCCX Scripting, administration, and design.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Qualifications should include 5-7 years working in a SIP environment, including required experience with Cisco hardware and software, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and WebEx.
  • Strong ability to work independently and quickly resolve issues in a highly visible position.
  • Strong understanding of when to include other team members to assist in problem resolution.
