Work You'll Do
Provide technical services in the areas of computer hardware and software. Administers, configures, monitors and tests application servers for business and network operations. Provides suggestions and recommendations for new technology solutions. Work with senior level engineers to implement applications and technology solutions. Monitor daily data and application server backups, upgrades, and patches. Responds to and resolves any critical issues impacting production and other system environments. May serve internal or external clients.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience supporting IT Infrastructure Network environments and/or 6 years with advanced degree. Including but not limited to:
    • Design and implement network infrastructure: Plan, configure, and deploy Cisco networking equipment (switches, routers, wireless access points)
    • Network performance testing & validation: Ability to conduct site surveys and end-to-end testing to validate throughput, redundancy, and failover capabilities across all floors and workspaces
    • Documentation, including but not limited to network diagrams and rack elevation drawings: Create and maintain accurate network diagrams, IP address allocations, and equipment inventory
    • Structured cabling oversight: Collaborate with contractors and low-voltage vendors to ensure proper installation of network cabling, including patch panels and IDFs/MDF setup
  • 2+ years and proficiency with Troubleshooting skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field and/or additional relevant IT related experience
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do
Preferred:
  • Collaboration with other IT teams: Work closely with systems, security, facilities and other operations teams to ensure seamless integration of their technology needs with existing infrastructure components
  • General understanding of Cisco Nexus 9000 series switches
  • General understanding of Cisco Catalyst switches (9300, 9200CX, etc.)
