VMware Certified Advanced Professional VMware Cloud Foundation Automation
Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation private cloud environments.
Experience with VMware Aria Automation, VMware Aria Orchestrator, and related cloud automation capabilities.
Good understanding of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, vSAN, SDDC Manager, and lifecycle management.
Experience developing automation workflows using REST APIs, PowerCLI, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
Ability to design automated provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
Knowledge of cloud governance, role-based access control, service catalog design, policies, and approval workflows.
Experience troubleshooting automation pipelines, workflow failures, integration issues, and infrastructure dependencies.
Understanding of networking, storage, compute, security, and monitoring concepts in VMware-based environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage automation solutions within VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
Develop and maintain automated workflows for provisioning, configuration, lifecycle management, and operational tasks.
Implement infrastructure-as-code practices using scripting, APIs, and automation tools.
Integrate VMware Cloud Foundation components with automation and orchestration platforms such as VMware Aria Automation and VMware Aria Orchestrator.
Support cloud service catalog creation, policy-based automation, approvals, and self-service provisioning.
Troubleshoot automation workflows, deployment failures, API integrations, and orchestration issues.
Collaborate with architecture, operations, network, storage, and security teams to deliver reliable private cloud services.
Ensure automation solutions meet organizational standards for availability, security, compliance, scalability, and performance.
Create technical documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.

Strong experience in VMware infrastructure, cloud platform administration, Kubernetes operations, or platform engineering.
Hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vSphere Kubernetes Service.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, containers, microservices, namespaces, pods, services, ingress, deployments, and stateful workloads.
Experience with Kubernetes administration tools such as kubectl, YAML manifests, Helm charts, and container registries.
Knowledge of VMware NSX, virtual networking, load balancing, DNS, routing, firewall rules, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with storage integration, storage policies, persistent volumes, CSI drivers, backup, and recovery for Kubernetes workloads.
Good understanding of security practices including RBAC, identity and access management, secrets management, image security, and policy enforcement.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across VMware Cloud Foundation, Kubernetes, compute, storage, and network layers.
Experience working in enterprise environments with change management, incident management, capacity planning, and operational governance
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and manage vSphere Kubernetes Service clusters within VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
Enable and administer Supervisor clusters, vSphere Namespaces, Kubernetes clusters, and related platform services.
Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycle activities, including provisioning, scaling, upgrades, patching, and decommissioning.
Configure and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, load balancing, ingress, service discovery, and integration with NSX and Avi Load Balancer.
Implement storage policies, persistent volumes, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery practices for containerized workloads.
Define and enforce security controls, RBAC, identity integration, namespace policies, image registry access, and workload security standards.
Support application teams in deploying and operating containerized workloads using Kubernetes, YAML, Helm, and related tools.
Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot issues across VMware, Kubernetes, networking, and storage layers.
Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and application teams to support enterprise platform engineering initiatives.
