Job description

The corporate office of Express Employment International is seeking a detail-oriented VMS Reconciliation Specialist to support the accuracy and integrity of contingent workforce data across Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and internal platforms. This role is responsible for performing weekly reconciliations, validating time and billing data, and identifying discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting and a high level of client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a solid foundation in reconciliation and accounting principles, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position also requires effective communication with internal teams to resolve issues, implement adjustments, and maintain alignment across systems.

This position sits within our Oklahoma City based corporate office, currently with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform weekly reconciliations between internal systems and VMS platforms to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Enter, review, and validate timecard data within VMS platforms on a weekly basis
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve discrepancies in timesheets, billing, and system records in a timely manner
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders to address discrepancies, provide updates, and confirm resolutions
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of reconciliation activities, adjustments, and issue resolution
  • Support onboarding of new accounts, including system setup and process alignment

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in account reconciliation, accounting support, or a related role required
  • Prior experience working with financial systems or VMS platforms preferred
  • Customer service experience in a professional setting preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and foundational accounting principles
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and validation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes with minimal supervision
