Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Promote patient comfort and assurance during each examination, clearly communicating every step of the process with warmth and empathy
• Collaborate efficiently with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Ensure precise documentation of procedures and uphold patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Required Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
