Job Title: Audio Visual Foreman (Voice & Data / Structured Cabling)
Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Foreman to oversee the installation and maintenance of structured cabling, voice/data, and AV systems on commercial and industrial job sights in the Clearwater, FL area. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, ensuring high-quality installations, and maintaining compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry codes.


What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):
  • Supervise and lead daily activities of V/D technicians and installers.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and construction drawings.

  • Install, terminate, test, and label copper and fiber optic cabling.

  • Plan and manage labor, materials, and equipment required for assigned projects.

  • Ensure all work meets TIA/EIA standards, NEC code, and other local and safety regulations.

  • Conduct quality control inspections and testing using certification tools (e.g., Fluke testers).

  • Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, and other trades.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, material usage, and crew hours.

  • Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety procedures.

  • Communicate project updates, risks, and delays to the Project Managers or Superintendents.

What You'll Bring (Preferred Qualifications):
  • 4+ years of experience in structured cabling, low voltage, or AV installation

  • Prior experience in a Foreman or Lead Technician role

  • Strong knowledge of fiber optics, copper cabling, and AV system installation

  • Experience with Fluke testing and certification

  • Ability to lead crews on active commercial construction sites

  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and NEC code requirements

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
