This position plays a pivotal role in executing a project's design, collaborating with a team of designers, installers, and programmers. This role is responsible for coordinating and maintaining expectations as a project is underway with outside partners including subcontractors, builders, and trades people. This role is responsible for the project's overall success from budgeting, planning, delivery, installation, and programming.

How success is defined:
  • Act as the primary contact for builders & trade partners on projects.
  • Manage the scheduling of Shade Installer/Field Technicians and Field Programmers with internal & external parties.
  • Perform shade measures on an as-needed basis.
  • Inspect materials for each project to ensure they are correct and undamaged. (Territory dependent)
  • Stage materials onsite for installation. (Territory dependent)
  • Coordinate with Technology Design team for on-site design requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Project Designer to perform site visits.
  • Coordinate with the Project Designer to review and approve project purchase orders.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.

What you will bring:
  • 3+ years of construction management experience required; high-end residential construction experience
  • Project management experience
  • Anticipated domestic travel of up to 50%.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
  • Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana
  • Technical experience with motorized shading, lighting controls, or light fixtures
  • Experience with Adobe Suite required.
  • Comfortable working on job sites as well as in finished residential home environments.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. Able to navigate and manage relationships with general contractors, homeowners, vendors.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills & ability to solve issues onsite.
  • Tech-savvy, able to quickly pick up the use of new apps and software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Must speak, read, and write English fluently.

Compensation: $96,000
