What is the difference between Visual Manager vs Visual Merchandiser?
| Aspect | Visual Manager | Visual Merchandiser |
|---|---|---|
| Credentials | Experience in retail visual display, possibly managerial certifications | Creativity, design skills, retail experience |
| Work Environment | Oversees visual displays across multiple stores or departments | Designs and implements displays at store level |
| Industry Usage | Commonly employed in retail chains, department stores | Found in retail, fashion, home goods sectors |
The main difference is that a Visual Manager oversees the overall visual presentation strategy across multiple locations, while a Visual Merchandiser focuses on creating and setting up displays at individual stores. Both roles require creativity and retail experience, but the Visual Manager has broader responsibilities and often manages teams.
How does a visual manager typically collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive store performance?

Other duties include monitoring competitors, altering floor plans based on what is and is not selling, and developing signage.
