About the Job:
Visual Designer is responsible for building comprehensive guides for seasonal store setups and in-store displays. The role will work closely with the Visual Merchandising and cross functional teams to create clear, cohesive, and on-brand direction that will be utilized by all Stores to execute Visual updates.
A day in the life, what you'll be doing:
  • Create Visual Guides: Develop Visual Guides for seasonal setups and in-store displays, ensuring they align with the brand's vision and retail strategies; this will require frequent use of InDesign and Photoshop to produce high-quality visuals
  • Photograph Mock Store Presentations: Capture clear photographs of finalized presentations at the HQ level to ensure the visual accuracy and integrity of each presentation; ensure all images are clear, well-lit, and represent the intended display setup
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Visual Merchandising team to gather input and direction for guide creation; ensure all presentations captures the specific needs of different Store Tiers and locations, including providing alternative options for select stores as needed
  • Special Projects: Provide additional support to the Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising in assisting in helping with various projects as needed. This may include supporting new or remodel Store openings, special brand launches, and/or new company initiatives
  • Time Management & Deadlines: Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of Visual Guides in advance of each season; collaborate with teams to meet deadlines and adjust priorities as needed
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry technology in design and overarching feedback from the Field, continuously improving the effectiveness and creativity of Visual Guides; suggest and implement improvements to streamline the creation process

What it takes to Join:
  • Education / Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field, preferably within a retail environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite & Figma: Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator and Figma
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365: Preferred knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Photography Skills: Strong photography skillset with experience in capturing high quality images
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with an ability to create visually appealing and easy-to-follow guides
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Salary Range: $95,000 - $100,000

  • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.
  • Travel to select Stores may be required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
