Job Description:

Metas Solutions has an opening for an experienced Software Developer II to work in office in Durham, NC. As a C#, .Net, and SQL Developer you will work closely on an Agile team with product owners, business analysts, developers, and other team members to design, code, iterate, test, and ultimately deliver quality technical solutions that exceed business requirements. This Computer Programmer II position is a great match for a software developer with enterprise level experience with C#, ASP.Net, SQL, DevOps, and SQL Server development with 5 or more years of experience. Looking for a team player that can work with clients, communicate progress effectively, and demonstrate results in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Applying experience and knowledge in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance and integration to develop high-quality technical solutions for C# and SQL Server based applications that meet or exceed client goals, delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.
  • Participating in component and data architecture design, and performance monitoring.
  • Work closely on an Agile team with scrum master, business analyst, and other development team members to review and coordinate new changes including version upgrades.
  • Manage multiple objectives to completion within bi-weekly sprint.
  • Assist team members in development, collaboration, and conduct performance tuning/troubleshooting.
  • Contribute and independently document system design.
  • Provide complete documentation of process and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related program.
  • 5 or more years of experience with C#, Asp.Net, ADO.Net, MVC, JavaScript, Java, CSS, DevOps and other .Net related technologies utilizing the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
  • 5 or more years' experience with SQL Server, creating and implementing stored procedures, query optimization, and views. Experience with Azure SQL Database a plus.
  • Experience in related technologies such as regular expressions, XML, HTML, CSS, and RESTful services.
  • Knowledge of Public Health technologies such as HL7/FHIR, ICD Coding, and Epidemiological/Statistical functions are a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise migration to cloud services such as Microsoft Azure Data Factory, SQL Database, and Data Lake Storage
  • Experience with quality assurance measures, include writing test plans, unit testing, system testing, and regression testing.
  • Ability to articulate issues and concepts that are technical and non-technical.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven experience with source control such as Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, or Git.
  • Familiarity with productivity software including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and O365 suite, Zoom, and others.
  • Experience participating in an agile team, collaborating, and share coding and test responsibilities.
  • Experience stable work history.
  • Strong attention to detail.
