Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a General Surgical Floor position requiring 2+ years of experience and telemetry familiarity.

Details
  • Work on a 28-bed general surgical adult unit with telemetry capability
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
  • Unit supported by PCTs, a Healthcare Unit Coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients
  • Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period
  • Holiday coverage required as departmental needs dictate
Requirements
  • Active RN license (State, Compact/OK, or Nursys eligible)
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • License and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must reside in the US and have a US Social Security Number and home address
