Why is this Respiratory Therapist Telehealth role different?

This Telehealth Respiratory Therapist role allows you to deliver high-quality respiratory care and education to patients across the country-without the need for travel or on-call coverage. You'll use your clinical expertise and communication skills to support patients remotely, ensuring safety, confidence, and continuity of care.

With flexible working hours and national reach, this position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy teaching, troubleshooting, and providing compassionate care through virtual platforms.

Key highlights

  • Coverage Area: Nationwide (Central and Eastern Time Zones)

  • Work Arrangement: Fully Remote / Telehealth

  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with flexibility

  • On-Call: None

Salary range

  • $21 - $40/hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Licensure Requirements

  • Required active RT license in either Florida (FL) or Texas (TX) - one of these is mandatory.

  • Will obtain and maintain licensure over time in the following states:

    • TX, OK, LA, KS, NC, SC, GA, TN, FL, VA, AL, MS, MD, DC.

  • Company support provided for additional state licenses over time

What You'll Do

  • Provide virtual respiratory support and education to patients and caregivers.

  • Troubleshoot respiratory equipment remotely, including CPAP, BiPAP, ventilators, and oxygen therapy.

  • Educate patients on equipment use, cleaning, care, and best practices.

  • Answer patient questions and provide phone/video-based clinical guidance.

  • Document patient inte

  • ractions accurately and thoroughly.

  • Collaborate with internal clinical and operational teams.

  • Maintain compliance with multi-state licensure requirements.

What We Look For

  • Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license required, must hold active FL or TX license (one required).

  • Willingness to obtain and maintain multiple state licenses.

  • Open to all levels of experience.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

  • Strong communication and telehealth engagement skills.

  • High level of customer service with empathy and patience.

  • Ability to teach and explain clinical concepts clearly.
