Receptionist

Join our team at Greenville Center and contribute to the exceptional care and services we provide to our residents! As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by providing exceptional customer service, handling administrative tasks, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.

About the Role:
As a Receptionist at Greenville Center, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating the telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls, providing information and taking messages

  • Greeting all visitors entering the facility and directing or escorting them to their destination

  • Assisting residents, family members, employees, and other visitors as needed

  • Performing general administrative tasks such as word processing and data entry

  • Maintaining security by following procedures and controlling access

  • Maintaining the general filing system and filing all correspondences appropriately

  • Receiving and sorting daily mail, delivery, and couriers

  • Reporting any issues or concerns with residents to the Administrator

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Long Term Care industry is preferred

  • Past clerical/reception experience preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

  • May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
