A Typical Day
The Mediation Specialist will manage key metrics related to servicing litigation, which includes, but may not be limited to, the following teams: Contested Matters, Title Matters, and Mediation; department performance; implementation of department strategies/procedures; and responding to inquiries related to customers/vendors/investors/regulatory agencies. As the Mediation Specialist, you will interface with other divisions in servicing to ensure upstream/downstream processes are appropriate.
The Mediation Specialist will:
  • Attend Court-appointed mediations by telephone or virtual appearance to support operational success
  • Support the servicing of mortgage loans
  • Support business leaders to identify/support processes at the operational level
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • An in-depth understanding of state-by-state foreclosure rules, and the ability to attend Court-appointed mediations by telephone or virtual appearance
  • Understanding of GSE/insurer servicing guidelines
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Experience in Financial Services and, if possible, with prior mediation experience is preferred

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
  • Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
