Gleim is a 50+-year-old publishing company, located in Gainesville, Florida that provides quality, easy-to-use self-study exam prep materials for accountants and pilots throughout the world. Our mission is to maximize knowledge transfer while minimizing a students time and expenses. Ultimately, we help people help themselves succeed in their careers.


Join our exciting, fast-paced Content Production team and assist with proofing, editing, and word processing of our study materials. Our Content Production Department crafts the products that the rest of the departments support. Content Production is dedicated to providing our customers with up-to-date study materials. Many of our team members are alumni from the University of Florida, Santa Fe College, and Embry Riddle. 


Proofreaders will review Content materials that include virtual and hardcopy books, videos, audios, and the company website, to ensure the content follows house style consistently, is grammatically correct, and easy to understand.


Proofreaders often cross train in word processing and work in both areas when needed. Word Processors format, edit and produce documents using a proprietary word processing system based upon HTML/XML.


Requirements:  Must be able to work on-site in Gainesville, Florida.

  • Typing 40+ wpm.
  • Excellent English and grammar knowledge.
  • Possess good attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a library environment.


Desirable, but Not Required

  • 4-year degree, preferably in English, Education or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.


References required. Drug testing and background check will be conducted upon a job offer. Gleim is a drug and smoke free workplace.
