Job description

TITLE: Training Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Project Director

LOCATION: Borderplex Region  

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee

Career Team is looking to hire a Training Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating staff onboarding, training, and professional development across the project. This role develops and delivers training on program policies, systems, and service delivery practices to ensure staff are prepared to meet or exceed contract requirements. Work is performed under the supervision of the Project Director.

Your Impact on Career Team's Success:

  • Coordinate and schedule new hire onboarding and ongoing staff training across the project
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain training materials on program policies, procedures, systems, and service delivery practices
  • Train staff on Work-In-Texas, and other case management and data systems to support data integrity
  • Assess training needs in partnership with project leadership and address gaps in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of staff training completion and certifications
  • Support the rollout of new policies, procedures, and contract changes through targeted training
  • Coordinate cross-training and events that promote relationship building across offices, divisions, and partner agencies
  • Deliver training in a variety of formats, including in-person, virtual instructor-led, and self-paced
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standard operating procedures and contract updates
  • Approach each day and task with a "ZAG" mindset
  • Other duties and projects as needed

This position is expected to be a HYBRID position. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite as well as remotely. 

To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in training, instructional delivery, staff development, or a related field
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to deliver training to both groups and individuals
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and training platforms
  • Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • A Valid Driver's License

Additional Skills/Knowledge Career Team Would Love for This Role:

  • Experience and knowledge of WIOA, TANF, SNAP, and other workforce development programs
  • Experience developing virtual instructor-led or e-learning content
  • Bilingual or multilingual
  • Training in Trauma Informed Care, evidence-based practice, and/or whole family services

Salary: $50,000 - $54,000/yr

Travel: As Needed
