Job description

Title: Instructional Designer - A
Location: 8701 Bee Cave Road, Austin, TX, 100% Onsite
Duration: 12 months
Summary:
  • Please submit candidates within general geographical local area as candidates must pick equipment up from site and occasionally have onsite meetings with the team.
  • We are seeking an Instructional Designer/Content Writer to join our team to help us create engaging and effective learning materials.
  • Candidate should have some type of previous medical or medical device knowledge from branding standpoint

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including virtual instructor-led and instructor-led training content and instruction.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the accuracy of content.
  • Write straightforward, clear, concise, and engaging content for a sales and clinical audience across various learning formats (facilitator and participant guides, classroom activities, presentations, etc.).
  • Utilize instructional design principles and methodologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes.
  • Years of experience required: 2-4
  • Required education level/certifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner requirements to create tailored instructional solutions.
  • Incorporate practices in instructional design and content development.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in instructional design and content writing.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g. ISpring, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of multimedia design and development is a plus.
