Job Summary:

The Director, Education is responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and evolution of the organization's education portfolio across live, hybrid, and virtual programs. This role leads content strategy and program design for all educational offerings, with a particular focus on scalable virtual education programs such as certification series and structured learning pathways.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Client Experience, the Director, Education partners closely with internal subject matter experts (SMEs), the design team, marketing, events, and technology partners to ensure educational programs are instructionally sound, learnercentered, operationally effective, and financially sustainable.

This role oversees the planning, development, execution, and continuous improvement of virtual education programs; manages the technology and systems supporting program delivery (including learning management systems); maintains accreditations where applicable; and helps guide revenue and profitability strategy for education programs in conjunction with the Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy, structure, and ongoing evolution of the organization's education portfolio, including a multiyear roadmap aligned to business objectives and the client experience.
  • Oversee content development for all educational programs-live, hybrid, and virtual-ensuring instructional quality, consistency, and alignment with defined learning outcomes.
  • Guide and review educational content created by internal subject matter experts in close collaboration with the design team.
  • Lead the planning, development, launch, and continuous improvement of virtual education programs, including certification series and structured learning pathways.
  • Oversee technology and systems supporting virtual education delivery, including learning management systems (LMS), ensuring scalability, reliability, and effective reporting.
  • Maintain accreditations for virtual and applicable live programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory, industry, and organizational standards.
  • In partnership with the Managing Director, Client Experience, help oversee revenue, pricing strategy, and profitability for education programs.
  • Establish standards and best practices for faculty, presenters, and SMEs to enhance instructional effectiveness and learner engagement.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate learner outcomes, engagement, satisfaction, and financial performance; use insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with Marketing, Events, Technology, and Client Experience teams to integrate education into the broader client journey.
  • Position education offerings as a source of thought leadership, market differentiation, and personalized client value through segmented and tailored learning pathways.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5)+ years of progressive experience in education program development, instructional design, professional learning, or related fields, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading virtual education programs, certification offerings, or structured learning portfolios.
  • Experience managing learning management systems (LMS) and education technology platforms.
  • Experience maintaining continuing education or professional accreditation programs preferred.
  • Regulated financial services industry experience is a plus.
  • Commitment to staying current on adult learning best practices, education technology trends, and industry standards.
